Born in Wisconsin to immigrant Chinese parents, but raised in Texas since I was 2. As a result I’d take a sizzling plate of fajitas over egg rolls anyday. Currently involved with a handsome Australian boy, which means I have a ridiculous amount of frequent flyer miles that I can rarely redeem because of shady airline fine print. Studying Human Biology, concentration in genetics and biotechnology at the University of Texas at Austin, and as of April 2009 I have a full time job lined up working at Stratagene in Cedar Creek.

I own a cockatiel named Sam, who is spoiled beyond belief and is my little fluffle baby.  Also have a parakeet named Nugget because he was the runt of the litter, barely the size of a chicken nugget, and a new whiteface cockatiel named Erin. Took up photography just recently as a new hobby and hopefully will have a portfolio of presentable work. In the past, I’ve done a lot of graphic and web design but being a perfectionist makes it frustrating at times. I’ve played piano since before I can remember and used to be quite the prodigy, but then life got in the way. Every once in awhile I’ll bang around on the keys. Avid gamer since the day my parents bought me a Sega console, and have made the rounds with MMOs.  Used to be a Warcraft junkie but I lost interest after a few years.

Love to travel, I want to see the world but lack the funds and time to do it. One day!
